Artist Talk: Julianne Wang

Wednesday, April 9 at 2 p.m.
Sugar Grove Campus, Dickson Center, Arrowhead Gallery

The Waubonsee Art Department hosts gallery exhibitions by a variety of artists throughout the year. You are invited to view the exhibits and attend the accompanying talk by the artist.

Wang's mutli-faceted practice spans a wide variety of media, often including organic and intentionally delicate materials. Her work evokes harmony and contemplation as it explores the impact of shifting social environments on individual and collective relationships. Influenced by Eastern philoso[hy and spirituality, Wang's aesthetic marries the rhythm of nature with the beauty of existence. The embrace of diverse worldviews and life's unpredictability provides a path of universal resonance viewers are invited to share in.
