Deadline: March 8th, 8:00pm EST
The US Water Prize, awarded annually by the US Water Alliance, celebrates outstanding achievement in advancing sustainable, integrated, and inclusive solutions to our nation’s water challenges. It is the pre-eminent national recognition program for exemplary efforts to secure a sustainable water future for all.
The US Water Prize for Outstanding Public Official honors an individual who has championed water policy in their public agenda, inspiring leadership and action to overcome water sector challenges. Individuals eligible to be nominated can be elected or appointed, including mayors, city managers, city council members, governors, members of legislatures, and employees of federal agencies. Please note that while utility employees are invaluable assets, this award is focused on highlighting public officials who have championed One Water solutions while not working for a water agency. We encourage utility leaders to apply via the organizational award category.
The honoree will be celebrated and recognized with top leaders across the water sector and beyond at the US Water Prize ceremony on July 10th, 2018. The US Water Prize ceremony kicks off the One Water Summit, which runs from July 10-12th in the Twin Cities.
If you have questions or issues with the online submission process, please contact Suzi Warren at firstname.lastname@example.org, or 202-789-7751.
