Welcome to the Application for Board Certification
If you are a chaplain that works in New York State interested in becoming a board certified chaplain, the Spiritual Care Association has received a generous grant to offer additional full scholarships for qualified chaplains.
You must work in New York (anywhere in NY State) and you must meet the requirements for board certification. The scholarships are available for chaplains at all levels of training and who work in all settings. Our goal is to recruit chaplains from a broad range of backgrounds serving diverse communities across New York State.
The deadline to apply is November 15, 2021
Please note:
* You will be able to save your progress at any point during the application and return to it at a later time.
* All your documents will need to be uploaded in PDF or Word format. They must be legible. Please do not upload any documents not specifically requested with this application or mail any additional material to SCA. This will slow up your review.
* The application fee is being waived for this scholarship program.
* After all your documents are approved, you will receive an email from one of our Certification Administrators. You will have up to 9 months from that day to complete the rest of the process.
