BASIC COMPONENTS
Private 30-Min lessons once per week, not to exceed 30 lessons per school year.
Piano is open to grades TK-8.
PRIVATE LESSON REGISTRATION AND TUITION PAYMENT
The yearly cost for piano lessons for the 2022-2023 school year is $1058, plus a $30 non-refundable registration fee. This fee is based on 30 lessons throughout the year at $35.25/ lesson. The yearly fee may be paid in full, by trimester, or it can be divided into nine equal payments of $118/month starting in September through May. The registration fee and the first payment for music lessons are due with this contract. If you are on a monthly plan, the remaining eight payments will be applied to your monthly tuition bill starting on October 1st. If you are on a trimester plan, the charge will be added to your trimester bill on November 1st and March 1st. You must pick the same payment plan (trimester or monthly) as your current tuition plan. For any billing questions, please email kmorrison@foothillchristian.org. Lessons begin the week of August 29th, 2022. Registration deadline is August 25.
Students are considered enrolled by this contract for the entire year. If a student withdraws for any reason, the charges are pro-rated on a trimester basis. The school will not require payment for the entire year, but parents must pay for the entire trimester in which the child is enrolled. All withdrawals must be made in writing and shall be effective at the end of the trimester. Please contact the finance office if you have any questions regarding payments.
LESSON SCHEDULING
Lesson times are scheduled by the private lesson teacher. Once the student is registered, the piano teacher will contact you to schedule a weekly lesson time. Please email Doris Kohler (dkohler@foothillchristian.org) for questions about piano lesson scheduling.
STUDENT CANCELLATIONS
If a student will miss a lesson for any reason, the parent/guardian must contact the lesson teacher via email 24 hours in advance to reschedule. Students are allotted one makeup lesson per trimester for excused absences only. If the parent/guardian does not contact the teacher 24 hours prior to the lesson time, the absence will be considered unexcused and cannot be made up.
MATERIALS AND RECITALS
All practice books and materials needed for the lessons are the responsibility of the parents to purchase. The teacher will provide a list of required materials. Students must bring their materials to each session. There will also be one or more performance opportunities for students to play at recitals during the school year.
