2021 Travel Policy Update

PACE is unable to provide funding to support student travel at this time, but we are actively working with campus administrators and stakeholders to reopen PACE for travel as soon as possible. Though institutional policy allows students to receive university funding for pre-approved travel, PACE is unique among campus programs and working to align procedures to policies enacted in the pandemic. While new procedures are in development, PACE will support students in virtual-only experiences.

Students must be a degree-seeking undergraduates at the University of Colorado Boulder planning to present, perform or exhibit a project supervised by an eligible mentor.  Due to institutional travel policy, students must be at least 18 years of age or older to apply and receive funding from PACE.

Mentor Eligibility

CU Boulder faculty, instructors, staff, postdoctoral fellows and graduate students are eligible to serve as mentors on PACE applications.

When can I apply?

You can apply as soon as you are accepted to present, perform or exhibit your work but no later than the start of the conference/exhibition. You may not receive PACE funding for conferences/exhibitions occuring after you graduate.
