SCES Staff: Join the PTA and Sammy Booster Club for 2018-2019!

The PTA is made of up parents and staff who work together to enrich the lives of SCES students. PTA members play an active role in the school and receive discounts and a free Student Directory. The PTA supports the school's staff through "Wonderful Wednesdays," luncheons and cookie exchanges, grade-level boxes and staff appreciation activities, and more. We also support the school's needs through purchases such as assemblies, learning materials, technology; and sponsor activities such as Science Night and the new Family Potluck Night, the Monster Mash, Talent Show, and Spring Carnival. The PTA meets the second Tuesday of each month at 7:00 p.m. in the cafeteria, and members receive monthly emails that detail upcoming activities, list volunteer opportunities, provide helpful reminders, and include short surveys to gather ideas and feedback. The Sammy Booster Club raises additional funds to support PTA activities. Members receive a Booster Club car magnet, 1 mini-notebook, (both of which will be delivered to the SCES office) and other benefits such as:

Early entrance to claim seats at the Talent Show
Skip-the-line passes at the spring carnival
Extra tickets for students to participate in the cake walk at the Monster Mash

For SCES staff, to join the PTA only costs $5. To join the Sammy Booster Club (including full PTA membership) costs $45.
