Art & Healing for Teachers and Students
June 20-24, 2022
At a time when everyone is seeking restoration and solace, this Teacher Institute aims to provide teachers with the tools to be able to rely on art as a source of relaxation, self-care, and student support. Hands-on experiences, meaningful discussions, mindful creativity exercises, and inspiring artwork will rejuvenate you and help spark joy in your classroom.
Teachers will explore BAM’s current exhibitions, including: Felix Gonzales-Torres: “Untitled” (L.A.); Everyday Objects: The Enduring Appeal of Still Life; Stephen Towns: Declaration and Resistance and more!
