Making Connections: Creativity and Culture in the Classroom
June 21-25, 2021
Art can cultivate a creative classroom environment and help students make connections between subjects and the world around them. Participants will consider cross-curricular relationships and global perspectives through engaging gallery activities and artmaking. Leave with hands-on experience, relevant takeaways, and new ideas to refresh your instructional practice. Participants will view and create artwork inspired by BAM’s Permanent Collection and current exhibitions The World Stage; Io Palmer: Desired Interruptions; and more. For your safety, masks are required, and physical distancing will be practiced.
