Dreamer to Dreamer Mentoring is an “I Have A Dream” Foundation program that matches Alumni Dreamers with College Dreamers. As mentors, you will Inspire, Support, and Guide College Dreamers by providing moral support, answering questions about navigating the college experience, and sharing advice for college success.

Requirements:

Mentors must be graduates of 4-year colleges
Mentors must make a 1 year commitment to communicate with their mentees through monthly in-person, virtual, or phone contacts. In person contact will take place on campus and at the program site.

Special note:

If there are no mentees available for mentoring in your region, your application will be held for next year’s Dreamer to Dreamer Mentoring program.

Mentoring Match Process:

Step One: Complete On-line Mentoring Interest Application

Step Two: As part of mentoring programs best practices, we request that you complete a Background Check Application by an independent organization. We will provide you with additional instructions for the Background Check Application after you complete Step One.

Step Three: To ensure a great match, Program Directors, who know their College Dreamers best, will schedule a Skype/In-person Interview with you this summer.
