Oregon Society of Physician Assistants is seeking presentation proposals for our 2022 Annual CME Conference on Thursday, Sept 8-11, 2022, in Seaside, OR. The conference format includes one lecture each hour, and your proposal should be formatted for a one (1) hour session (45-minute presentation with 15 minutes for questions at the end). Our meeting will be live, however, we are offering half day live and the other recorded. If you are unable to travel you can still submit for a recorded lecture.
To ensure a balanced conference CME program is offered, all submissions are reviewed and evaluated by a committee of your peers. The evaluation process is competitive, and if selected, you will be notified by email or phone.
We are open to reviewing all topics. Some suggested topics from last year's surveys were: Neurology, Vascular, Orthopedics, rapid review topics, Pain related topics outside of opioids, Peds URI, GI, UTI, rashes, Treating anxiety and psych issues… Suboxone an opiate treatment, managing diabetes in elderly, Covid 19, ENT, Sinus issues, over prescribed antibiotics and steriods, Rheumatoid topics, Neuromuscular topics, wound care, sleep disorders, PTSD, Preparing for retirement. Practice after you retire?, Hypertension, ED pathology, Treating a CHF exacerbation in the rural setting, geriatric health, and general topics.
Honorarium is $200 per lecture/hour plus one hotel room night per day of lectures. Travel is not included.
