The Colorado Academy of PAs is seeking presentation proposals for our 2024 PA Professional Day conference on October 5th from 8:30 am-5:00 pm at the Hybl Center at the University of Colorado - Colorado Springs, CO. Your proposal should be formatted for a one (1) hour session (50-minute presentation with 5 minutes for questions at the end).
The deadline to submit is July 1st, 2024.
To ensure a balanced conference CME program is offered, all submissions are reviewed and evaluated by a committee of your peers. Once the evaluation process is complete, the committee will notify the speakers who have been selected and an electronic contract will be sent via email for the speaker to review, sign, and submit.
Calling for topics including, but not limited to:
- Legislative Update
- Salary Negotiation topic
- Preceptor panel Or how to be an efficient preceptor
- Beyond clinical practice
- Leadership
- AI and healthcare
- Non-traditional PA roles
- Billing and coding
The speaker honorarium is the attendance to the conference, which includes breakfast, lunch, and 7 CME credits. Speaker travel expenses will not be paid by CAPA.
