For any volunteers who drive as part of their volunteer work, the required liability insurance coverage is 1 million dollars. Do you have sufficient coverage? *

Because of the difficulties and challenges in their lives, some of the children and
youth we serve have problems that may also challenge volunteers and others who relate to them.

Child Welfare Record Consent Form

Once your application is complete and you submit for review, you will automatically receive a secondary form - Child Welfare Record Consent Form. At Family and Children's Services, we are required by law to use the Child Protection Information Network (CPIN) to conduct records check when a volunteer application is received. This consent will provide us with your permission to conduct our search in relation to your application and it will be done in the CPIN system which includes all Child Welfare Societies in Ontario.
