LOCKN' FESTIVAL FOOD VENDOR APPLICATION

The Eigth-Annual LOCKN' Music Festival takes place on June 19-21 with a special Steal Your Thursday welcoming party at Arrington, Virginia's Infinity Downs and Oak Ridge Farm. Nestled in the Blue Ridge Mountains, LOCKN' offers an unparalleled festival experience with four days of music, community, and adventure. LOCKN' includes commerce areas in the music venue and campgrounds. Booth details, hours, and amenities are included below.

SHOW FIELD VENDING
 
Show Field Vending Options: 
- Entree Booth (10' wide x 20' deep  booth): $2,250 flat fee (paid in advance) + 30% of sales + $600 for two cashless point-of-sale terminals due upon settlement
 Booth includes: Three 20 AMP circuits, 10' x 20' tent, access to potable water, waste water service,  up to 10 staff wristbands, and two digital points of service.
 
- Specialty Item Booth (10' wide x 20' deep booth): $1,350 flat fee (paid in advance) + 25% of sales + $600 for two cashless point-of-sale terminals due upon settlement
Specialty booth vendors serve specialty beverages, desserts, and snacks (such as smoothies, coffee, pastries, etc). Booth includes: Three 20 AMP circuits, 10' x 20' tent, access to potable water, waste water service, 8 staff wristbands, and two digital points of service.
 
Venue Hours*:
- Thursday, June 18: 4:00 pm - 12 am
- Friday, June 19:  11:30 am - 1 am 
- Saturday, June 20: 11:30 am - 1 am 
- Sunday, June 21: 11:30 am - 12 am 
 
  
CAMPGROUND VENDING
 
Select food vendors will be featured throughout the campgrounds in designated commerce areas. Food trucks are encouraged to apply for a campground vending position. 
 
Campground vending fee: $1,800 flat fee (paid in advance) + 30% of sales + $300 for one cashless point-of-sale terminal due upon settlement
Fee includes basic power (per advance), waste water service, potable water refill, 12 staff wristbands, and one digital point of sale.  
 
Campground vending hours*: 10 am on Thursday, June 18 until 2 am on Monday, June 22. Load out will begin at 8 am on Monday, June 22.

VENDING GUIDELINES

- Vendor is responsible for all applicable county, state and federal taxes. Any vendors with outstanding tax debts in the state of Virginia will not be selected to vend at LOCKN' Festival. 

- All vendors must record sales (cash, RFID and credit card) in the provided point of sale system for an honest and transparent settlement. Vendors must participate in the LOCKN' cashless program, which allows fans to purchase food and beverage with their RFID wristband and/ or credit cards. Vendors will be subject to a transaction fee (~4.5% of RFID and credit card transactions) for both RFID and credit card sales. Cashless point-of-sale terminals are included in booth settlement. Additional terminals are available for $300 each. 

- Load-in will be scheduled for June 16 (venue) and June 17 (campgrounds). Load-out must take place by end of day on June 22. Exact times and instructions will be shared with accepted vendors. 

- Vendors are not permitted to sell Alcoholic Beverages of any kind. Vendors may sell pre-approved specialty beverages and non-alcoholic beverages purchased on-site through the vendor NA bev program.  NA beverage menus and pricing will be available to accepted vendors.

- All partners must comply with environmental guidlines to help the Festival minimize the waste generated at Infinity Downs. All service items must be biodegradable and support the Festival's plastic-free initiative. Prohibited items include: all plastic items, straws, single use bags, styrofoam, individual condiment packets and wrapped cutlery. More details will be provided upon acceptance. 

 

LOCKN' FOOD VENDING TIMELINE (subject to change)

March 13: Vendor application due

May 1: Flat fee payment, contract and all paperwork due from accepted vendors

June 16-17: Load-in (exact times will be assigned closer to the show)

June 18-21: SHOWTIME!

June 22: Settlement begins at 12 pm/ Load-out complete by 5 pm
