The Metro Life Flight & ProMedica Air Transport Observation Program (TOPS) is available to public safety, hospital, and pre-hospital care providers who utilize Metro Life Flight & ProMedica Air services.
Fly with us for one eight-hour or twelve-hour day shift and learn about our program, critical care transport, and aircraft safety.
Who Can Observe:
- Public safety personnel (EMTs /Paramedics / Firefighters / Law Enforcement Officers / Dispatchers)
- Medical personnel (Registered Nurses / Physicians / Advanced Practice Providers)
- We are not accepting students at this time.
Requirements:
- 18 years of age or older
- Good physical health. No pregnant observers.
- Weight must be less than 220 lbs (You will be weighed upon arrival to the base)
- Must present photo ID and proof of current certification / licensure
- Review the TOPS guidelines
