Course Description: A clinical management update on rheumatologic clinical and basic science knowledge.

Program Goal: To increase the knowledge of medical providers and students in latest basic and clinical science of rheumatic disease and its therapies.

Learning Objectives:

  1. To recognize and describe workup and treatment for acwuried systemic and organ-specific diseases.
  2. To formulate therapeutic approaches to rheumatic disease while accounting for gender differences and reproductive health issues.
  3. To incorporate new knowledge when treating rheumatic diseases including CAR-T and MSC therapies, Macrophage activation syndrome, as well as recent updates in treatment of lupus, inflammatory eye conditions and reproductive health for the practicing rheumatologist and long-covid treatment.
