Off the Beaten Path: Carnegie Hall Juried Photography Exhibit 2019

Carnegie Hall is pleased to present its 30th Annual Juried Photography Exhibition. This year's theme is "Off the Beaten Path". 
What may be entered: Photographs created within the last two years, not larger than 50" in any direction, and which have not been previously shown at Carnegie Hall.
Image Submission Guidelines:
- Up to three (3) photographs may be submitted per entry. Please include only ONE image of each photograph. Extra images or works will be deleted.
- Image MUST BE in JPEG format, sRGB color space, and less than 2MB (minimum of 1200 pixels in longer dimension.)
- Please DO NOT insert the artist's name on the image, or the image will be cropped before jurying. If cropping is not feasible, the image will be withheld.
Judging Criteria:
Works selected must reflect the theme "Off the Beaten Path". Works will be judged on the basis of:
-Technical Quality
-Thematic Depth
All Judges' decisons are final.
Sales and Awards:
All works should be priced for sale. Carnegie Hall will process all sales of artwork, and retain a 25% handling fee for each transaction. Carnegie Hall will also collect the required 6% State Sales Tax.

Important Dates:
Deadline for all entries: June 21, 2019
Notification of accepted work: week of August 5, 2019
Deadline for receiving work: Friday, August 23, 2019
Awards Reception: Fridy, September 6, 2019
Exhibition closes: Friday, October 25, 2019
Dates to pick up work: Monday and Tuesday October 28-29, 2019
Shipped works will be mailed by November 15, 2019
First Place - $300

Third Place - $150

Although accepted entries will be handled with all reasonable care, Carnegie Hall cannot assume liability for loss or damage to artwork for whatever cause. Artists who want additional protection may choose to insure their works independently. Payment of the $25 entry fee and electronic submission of a work to the exhibit shall constitute an agreement to comply with all conditions set forth in the Carnegie Hall Juried Exhibit prospectus. Permission to reproduce entries for marketing materials is hereby granted unless otherwise stated on electronic entry form.
