TULANE REMOTE INTERNSHIP PROGRAM SUMMER 2020
The Tulane Remote Internship Program (T.R.I.P.) allows undergraduate students an opportunity to work for national companies while during the summer semester over a 5-week period. The work will primarily be project-based with weekly meetings scheduled with a supervisor to monitor progress and learn more about the company they are interning with. Students are provided one academic credit for the internship, which means this is zero cost to the company. Interns will work 10-15 hours per week for the duration of the program. This summer, we will offer two program sessions for employers to work with students. Employers can choose to provide a remote internship experience for either session or for the entire summer. Each session will be 5 weeks in duration and interns will perform activities related to their internship for a minimum 10 hours per week. These hours includes work done on projects, weekly video/phone call with supervisor(s), enrichment activities planned by Tulane such as industry panels with TRIP Employers and meetings with their Tulane Career Consultant.
If you choose to have a posting available for both sessions, please note that you are intended to collect resumes, review applications and select a candidate for the first and second session position. If you decide on extending a student from session 1 to session 2, you will still need to review applicants as well. Students may apply for consideration for an additional session but the application will be accessible to all students for consideration.
Session 1: June 1, 2020 – July 3, 2020
Session 2: July 6, 2020 – August 7, 2020
